Selectabase began in the mid 1990s with founders Steven Sellwood and John Bird, working from a small office in Horsham. What started as a niche data operation has since developed into a nationally recognised UK data provider and mailing house, trusted by thousands of businesses across every sector.
Those early foundations, accuracy, compliance, service and reputation, continue to shape everything we do. In 2025, that long standing identity evolved once again with a milestone shift in leadership.
After eighteen years of dedicated service, long time team member and General Manager, James Flashman, completed a full company buy out and stepped into the role of Managing Director. His journey with Selectabase began on the frontline of operations, and in 2025 he stepped into the position of owner, committed to driving the business forward while preserving the values inherited from Steven and John.
Today, Selectabase stands stronger than ever, independent, evolving and deeply rooted in thirty years of proven reliability.
