Why check your data against TPS/CTPS?
If you are making telemarketing calls you must first check each phone number against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS and CTPS) – the UK’s list of ‘do not call’ numbers updated daily. Organisations are required by law to screen their list of telephone numbers against the TPS and not make live unsolicited sales and marketing calls to any number on the TPS registers. The only exception is where the contact gives an organisation specific consent to be contacted. Selectabase updates its TPS databases daily.
